How QUCHR works
QUCHR brings your organisation's own safety documents together with a governed library of workplace safety and compliance evidence. When you ask a question, QUCHR retrieves relevant information first, then answers with traceable citations back to the source it used.
The workflow

Upload your workplace safety documentation — policies, procedures, SWMS, risk assessments, templates and forms. QUCHR extracts and indexes this content so the relevant information can be retrieved later, when you ask a question.

QUCHR also draws on a governed library of workplace safety and compliance material. Sources go through a controlled process — acquired, reviewed and classified, then published — before they become trusted retrieval evidence. This library is built for Australian workplace safety and compliance contexts and continues to grow; it does not yet represent complete national regulatory coverage.

Ask a workplace safety or compliance question in plain English. QUCHR looks for relevant evidence first — across your own documents and the governed source library — then builds its response around what it retrieved, rather than answering from general knowledge alone.

Responses include citations back to the source material actually used, so you can trace an answer to its evidence and check it yourself. A citation shows you where an answer came from — it is not a guarantee that the answer is correct or compliant.

Reviewed before use
Reviewed and governed by QUCHR before publication into the source library used for retrieval. Coverage is growing, not yet nationally complete.
Source governance
Trusted evidence does not enter the governed library simply because it was found. Authoritative sources are reviewed before they're published into the evidence QUCHR retrieves from — official sources can also be checked for change, with updates reviewed before they're introduced into the library.
This is different from your own organisation's documents: those are your content, processed so QUCHR can retrieve from them, not manually reviewed by QUCHR staff.
Responsible use
QUCHR helps people find and understand safety information. It supports workplace safety decision-making but does not replace competent professional judgement, site-specific assessment or legal advice.
